THE 5 O’CLOCKS FOR CHARITY
The band gives back to the community with The 5 O’clocks for charity.
The band has helped raise thousands of dollars for worthy causes including WPKN, 89.5 FM radio — one of the few radio stations that airs original music that airs original music. The band is also performing charity events for the Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County and the Wounded Warriors Project in Spring, 2015 as well as The Pilot House, an organization providing social programs, therapeutic services and guidance for children with special needs. The 5’s will be performing September 25, 2016 at the 29th annual Bigelow Corporate Challenge 5K run/road race.
The 5 O’clocks also runs charity shows with original bands. Local charities can raise money for their worthy cause — and support local original music at the same time. The shows include The 5 O’clocks and other Connecticut-based original bands and artists.
