6:30 pm Marco Scott, Solo Jazz Piano
Ambiant recording artist Marco Scott performs. His latest recording due out later this year features John Patitucci on bass and Joe Corsello drums. Scott has also performed with jazz legend Diane Schuur and many others.
8:30 pm The 5 O’Clocks – Jazz
Pianist John Lamb leads the jazz set. Lamb’s long career includes performances with 10-time Grammy Award winner Bobby McFerrin and Downbeat Hall of Famer Jackie McLean. The band plays songs by artists including Chick Corea, Duke Ellington and Herbie Hancock. Jon Saxon (tenor saxophone) has performed with Larry Coryell (known as the Godfather of Fusion) and other great musicians. Paula Gallo adds vocals and Jim Syarto performs on drums.
9:30 pm The 5 O’Clocks – Acoustic
This acoustic blues and R & B show features vocalist Paula Gallo, who has played huge venues including Fairfield Theater Company, the Danbury Palace Theater, and the Gathering of the Vibes music festival in Bridgeport, CT. The band’s repertoire includes music by Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Janis Joplin, the Stones, Clapton and more. John Lamb – Steinway piano, Jon Saxon – saxophone and Jim Syarto –drums also perform this set.
